Our coaches did great job grilling for the annual BBQ Bash.

The Villages BBQ Bash is an event benefiting The Villages Charter Schools. Several teams from our community participate in the BBQ competition serving pork, chicken or beef. The school sells wristbands and people line up to get their samples. This was our very first year participating in the BBQ competition. We chose to do Brazilian Style Beef. When we signed up we were told to grill a minimum of 75 pounds of meat and there is good reason for that! We served thousands of people!  On our very first year participating in the BBQ Bash we won 3rd place in the beef category.

It was great to see many of you proudly wearing your inaugural t-shirt. We had a wonderful time serving and meeting everyone.

A big thank you to all our volunteers! They set-up, grilled, cut, served, smiled and taste-tested… we could not have done it without you!
