The Villages Reserves is a group that trains closely with the main The Villages PDL team during the season.
The principle behind the reserve team is to provide professional training through the summer for players preparing themselves for college soccer, and those who are looking to improve and be given the change to maybe join the main PDL team in the future. This will allow developing players’ access to training with the main PDL staff and players. Some of the Reserve players may have the opportunity to be called up to play in PDL matches.
Reserve team players will be selected from the open try-out, recommendation and previous experience. We will have a very limited number of players in this program to guarantee quality.
The Reserve training will start roughly April 11th, ending on July 16th. We will train two times per and will be run in conjunction with the PDL team’s sessions. Most practices will be Tuesdays and Thursdays but will depend on the schedule of the main team. At the start of the program we will provided with a training schedule.
Cost: $350 training fee and $70 registration fee.
This includes: registration, 2 training jerseys, 1 pair of shorts, 1 pair of socks, training sessions twice a week, and a season pass for The Villages SC 2017 PDL season.
Any travel and living cost will be at the expense of the player.
(*Note: Players are expected to abide by the “Player’s Code of Conduct”. The coaching staff reserves the right to release players that break the commitment guidelines.)
