The team had been practicing for over a month and had already had some away games, but there is nothing like playing at home. On Saturday we could not have asked for a better Home Opener. The weather held and the facility looked absolutely beautiful. The fans came out in force to show their support and the team felt it. With lots to celebrate with a final result of The Villages SC 4 vs 1 Weston FC the start of our home games could not have gone better.

Residents Photography Club

You may have seen that this season we have a few more people around taking pictures. We spoke with the Photography Club about challenging them to come to our games and practice their action shots as well as painting the picture of the event. Here are the favorites from the first home game:
