We are pleased to announce the signing of Brazilian International Carlos Vitor for the 2016 PDL season.
In the 2015 PDL campaign, Carlos played for Jersey Express. He scored 6 goals and had 10 assists. He added 2 goals in US Open Cup play, leading the Jersey Express to the third round of the tournament.
During his time there he was one of three finalist for the 2015 PDL Player of the Year Award. He was selected to the All Eastern Conference Team and PDL Team of the Year.
Carlos Vitor had offers to play for other teams but chose to play for The Villages SC. “I believe in Coach Anderson and this project. I see the professionalism of the coaching staff and have felt welcomed by the community. I want to do right by them.” said Carlos Vitor.
“He is a huge asset to the team. His ability to visualize the play and position himself is second to none.” said Coach Anderson, “we are very happy he chose to play for us.”
